LIGHTWEIGHT PAVILION
Ether is an urban installation with a strong sculptural character based on the concepts of lightness and purity in order to communicate with the surrounding space without interruption. The simplicity of the lines is only apparent: the structure is composed of a sophisticated game of intertwining poles that was created through a detailed study of shapes and light and shadow. The strength of Ether lies therefore in its three-dimensionality that gives a movement of shapes and perceptions always new.
The choice of spherical joints was guided by the desire to give the pavilion a partially mobile structure and to allow a free reinterpretation. Indeed the change in the layout of the poles offers the possibility to create new unique shapes and plays of light.
